Here is one for the tinnie experts ....... Something that I am looking for

In the past I have seen a round tinnie (silver in colour & solid) with a sun-wheel swastika in the centre with an outer circle of flames / fire around the swastika.
Would any one know the where-abouts of one of these badges/tinnies that might be for sale at a reasonable price.

Hello David - Is this the one you are looking for? Mine is bronze coloured but there are a few other similar ones that celebrate Sonnenwende (summer solstice). Unfortunately I don't have a duplicate of this.

As I think Curt will confirm, there is a high number of "Sonnenwende" badges by design which on occasions detail a town/city, year etc. Actually, someone could establish a very impressive collection of this genre in isolation.

This comes in both silver & gold, and, in my experience, is a fairly common tinnie, though it is prone to zincpest.
I'll have a look around, but there are no military fairs for me though, until next month.

I have also just found this one too ... which for me is very appealling. I saved the images but not where I found it .....

Yes this particular sonnenwende badge is pretty common and easy to find, as david says its a humanized price too. The sonnenwende badges comes in high numbers as this event is pretty common in europe even today. I do have a few ones in my collection of the sonnenwende which is not "that" easy to find so you guys know what to look for. well here they comes

Definitely a mistake on my part. Mine is gold coloured, not bronze as I stated. Not sure if a bronze one exists.

Here is a nice Sonnenwende tinnie from Plauen also in 2 different colours.
