    Hello Tinnie Collectors..

    this one puzzled me for a very long Time now... it came in a Box with some german Pins and badges..

    anyone seen this Pin before..reminds me on Unit Symbol or something about colonial related.

      You may be on the right track with the thought that it could be a truppenkenzeichen

      Go to: http://www.wwiidaybyday.com/ and look under schilder.

      The shield design is a match for Korp. Abteilung C, so perhaps this is a component of it? The aforementioned organization was formed out of the remnants of 3 divisions after disastrous losses on the eastern front.
