I bought my 1st Russian Front medal at the old "Dug Out" in Chicago about 23years ago but didn`t start collecting tinnies until about 15 or so years ago.

Chris, your collection is worthy of a finely printed morocco bound reference book. the quality and rarity is always a joy to see. you have quite a collection of pressed paper colored pieces that are really stunning in detail and again, in top condition which I and many others envy. im indeed fortunate to have at least one major tinnie that you dont have! and speaking for my self ill never come close to your collection, since i quit collecting 10 years ago.....YOUR NSLB THURENGEN tinnie is one of my favorites, and its stunning details deserve a real closeup.......im fortunate enough to have one , so ill get it on in a while. thanks for posting. Carl

Of course value plays a part. But I`m pretty partial to DLV, Flug, NSFK and pre-1933 tinnies. But most of all, what I keep is pretty much determined by which ones have the " thats a pretty damn cool tinnie" factor
Chris, your swas, winged propellar tinnie deserves a closeup!.......to help end the controversey of the badge that portrays the same symbol.

Just amazing pieces. I especially like ones with the Oath hands and helmets, but don't know much about them besides that they are cool

I can honestly say this collection has changed my opinion on Tinnies.

                Cheers.
