Ohhh a new variation of a COPY! Ges. Gesch and RZM together. No No But I must say it has the classic faker pin attaching plate. Sorry. Take it back or if you can't do that solder a bait holder (fish Hook) and use it as a lure. Trout might go for it.

I agree with Nick 100%. With real member badges, etc you will never see the RZM stamp with Ges. Gesch. it's one or the other, never both on the enamel piece. Unless the Ges. Gesch is stamped on the pin plate (reference: A Collector's Guide to the RZM Marks of the NSDAP. Page 17 item#3).

The "Coffin" style pin plate is always the dead give away for a fake. Once you see that drop it like a hot potato!! the book I referenced is a decent book with good information. I recommend that you obtain yourself a copy. The pitted metal also is usually a good give away as well. With all the party pins I have collected over the years I have never seen pitted metal on real badges, just the fakes. Tombak, brass, aluminum, & zinc from what i have seen over the years were the primary metals used for pins and badges and they never get pitted like the badge shown.

          Cheers

you dont need to look at the back to see its bad just take a look at the front, not even close

True, I'm not great at just looking at the front of the badge to tell if it's fake or not. So I along with others look at the back to find those flaws to see if it's good or bad. Sometimes I can see the flaws on the front, but most times I just look at the back automatically for the good tells.
