    AH bust!

    Hello Forum members.

    I have a question!
A member of another forum has no idea whether this original statue is a copy this was offered by someone, but now he wants to know if this piece is original or a copy.
    Can you help!

Height of the statue is 28 centimeter, metal is bronze!

    I have only his 3 photo's!

Notice the poorly done swastika on the "armband".....I agree with Sturmann...

Am I seeing this correctly -- is the swastika on the armband backwards?! If it is, then it's not a copy but a PHONEY and the question is moot!

Hi, it's a (re)cast of an original that has more detail and a marble base.

              grts, Morell

That sounds right, Morell, though I wonder how the swas got reversed when the rest of the statue is correct as to figure and uniform? I'm sure I've seen an original on someone's website in the not-too-distant past, but I can't remember where I saw it. Of itself, the original statue is quite impressive.

I would not buy it. Cheers, Torsten.

If you turn the bottom shot 90 degrees counter clockwise, it has three lines of writing in faint black....with photo tweaking might show up. I think this bronze comemorated the time they pranked Der Fuhrer at his 50th birthday party , when bormann put a m-80 in hitlers riter britches.........................HE....WAS...NOT.. ..AMUSED!!!
