SA Sachsen 25.II.34 - anyone seen this variant?

Hello All:

A friend of mine has this SA tinnie and was wondering if anyone is familiar with a variant or if it is a fake. The top one is the "normal" one and the bottom one is made of heavier metal (possibly copper) which weighs more than twice as much. The obvious difference other than the weight is the colour and the pin system.

Thats an odd one don,t know what to make of it, one thing the pin
set up does not belong to it. Looks like the ones you see on
IAB and PAB and other war badges

I agree with Mametz. Lots of age to it, perhaps too much.
