That looks 100% good and a very nice condition one at that. The only thing that would worry me slightly is the engraving which I've never seen blackened in before and the date is numeric on all the others I have seen.

and the engraving is the awarding date - really nice!!!!
thats one of those badges you don't know which side is more important to display (a wonderful front or a rare engraving) - use a miror if you have space for a "biger" display, its worth!!!

These were individually numbered per Landesverbande and engraving was generally done locally, so the styles vary.

The makers are the same because the Stahlhelm had their own supply outlet "Der Stahlhof" (which may have given the Nazis the idea for their RZM). Some sources have incorrectly attributed this mark to Steinhauer & Luck
