It's obviously a Commerce & Industry award given to a female.
Fairly common? Valuation?

interesting medal!
especially with the case - i have never seen one before!

but with the inscription on the case, it could be easily located - and the industrie und handelskammer of today in mönchen gladbach could perhaps give info to the medal.

Muchen Gladbach I've been through/stayed there a few times in the past.
