    SA-TREFFEN BRAUNSCHWEIG opinions.

    Hi.

I have this badge and it is made of zinc I think.
Marked on the backside RZM M../17 and GES. GESCH.

I think it is a good one ?

    Regards

Forgot to mention that it's also a late Assmann badge.

I am sorry but I have to respectfully disagree with the pronouncing of authenticity nor do I believe that the badge is made from zinc.

<OThe later war zinc pieces were still die stamped and although resulting in considerably lesser quality, the definition and clarity mostly still remained

I believe this piece is a contemporary poured, cast copy.

                  <ORespectfully,

John, I understand where you're coming from on this piece but a lot of the late Assmann badges had soft features like this badge and were a bit rough looking campared to say the M1/63 badges.

                      hi guys

-- free opinions is a natural part of a democratic proces-- just my opinion -who cares anyway guys theres some bad flags here you gotta take serius, some of the bad flags is : - wings on eagle is not compeadable and not equal in lines- the collor is wrong for zink looks light heat treaded- the lines and name in Braunschwieg is wrong (too long name) there are a couple of baddies too but imo its a casted copy, sorry there.

                      cheers mate

Looking at the porous surface, could this be a cast piece as Casten raised?
The originals were injection moulded, were they?
The sloppy method of fastening the pin onto the badge doesn't give me confidence in it as well.
