        carefull

        Hi hobbyforum

ill suggest you go easy first on this one, imm not saying its not a original bec. imm not sure exatly how this particular maker did his makingprocedure, but just for observation as a metal ingeneer imm saying the procedure looks wrong : Front- the letters kreissiger is under the enemal- the outerline from white enemal to brass is blurey- the hj emblems outerline dosent fitt, the left side is thinner, i dont like the swastica either. The backside is the worst- in some ereas its looks casted same goes for the eaglewing, looks like it have been into a dryer ( whit protected front ) whit bolts and balls, the badge outerline is crated and not decrated, the needle - hinge and catch has been mounted AFTER it has been painted, you can see clearly the torch/flamemarks goes down from the the mounted hatch to the logo same goes for the hinge which is bended whit a tool and not rounded, the edge is poorly cut, last is the needle its mounted as the last thing on this badge whit the same flame marks and also poorly cut. if these obs combined whit the makes procedure match, its original imo if not ill move slowly and choose wisely thoe imo its a sloppy maker or a really bad eksampel on german juweler kvality.
I hope you guys know better and imm hopefully wrong , nobody like fakes sneaking indside. Bedst wishes and i hope its orig.

        cheers mate

We live in high tec times, Carsten. They didnen't had back then, the precise machinery that we have today. If I take a look at the tolerance of high quality laser cut fighting knives fittings of todays production and compare them with a period good quality SA or SS dagger, I also see many differences. It's good handwork compared to perfect machine work.

It's the same with political slogan badges: The lettering on modern fakes is too perfect cut out compared to the (albeit resized) hand formed lettering.
