    S.A. Marine Standarte 2 - 1934

I am assuming that this 1934 "Skagerrak" remembrance, celebration or ceremony badge relates to SA Marinestandarte 2 who were based in Chemnitz, being part of SA Gruppe Sachsen.

    Regards,

    David

      Hello David,

Here's a bit more info on the SA Marine tinnie.
We have the same good taste.

        Dear Mil

Thankyou for the link and my apologies for being a tad lazy in not searching for this badge on the forum. Indeed, good taste as I think that this badge is well detailed, colourful and quite striking in appearance. What more do we want from an SA event badge?

        Regards,

        David

          David,

The SA Marine badge that you posted is slightly different from the one which I posted in the other thread, with notable differences in the numerals (mine looks a bit squashed); excess material on only one side of the wing; and different details on the eagle body.

Eventually I did not purchase the SA marine badge.

          Mil
