Here is my original vs yours.
A few things stand out as different, most obvious being yours has a much thinner Sig rune with longer arms, and the letters D & J are raised on mine, don't appear to be on yours.
Of course, there may have been variations, that I don't know ,,, But if not, then not a good sign for your badge, I'm leaning towards repro at this point.
Also yours appears to have a longer pin, and a different metal composition.
Is yours flat, or slightly vaulted ?

Could be a good variation. But I admit it is indeed a weird one.

      PS: nice Assmann, TRC

I have seen these thinner Sieg runed ones before and they were accepted as ok

If it was just the rune, perhaps so.
          Other differences:
          *Different fonts for letters
          *Letters not raised
          *Is apparently not vaulted
*Different Swaz, corners protrude from the circle farther
          * Stamped gesgesch, as opposed to raised

          Thats alot of variation.
The pin itself does look the same though, and appears to be period.

I believe it to be original but a variation.

I defer to the more knowledgeable to confirm this opinion.
