    Political badges? Opinions?

    Hello Guys,

A friend would like opinions on these pins.

I really don't dare to say anything for certain on these but i don't like the NSDAP pin.

    Thank you in advance !

For sure the party badge is a fake. The veteran badge have a very strange design and I´d say it´s a fake too. I can´t tell you anything about the colonial bund badge, but I had never seen this S on a circle as a maker mark of this kind of items.

Couple more Reichskolonialbund pins with similar marks for comparison......

Im kinda on the fence with the party stick pin.
Could the NSDAP been a regular pin back mini then changed to a stick? Out of the 6 mini nsdap party pins I own, I'd say the red is in the middle of bright and deep murky red

Is it a 18mm or smaller? Usually as well, the pin plate would take up the diameter of the plate circle. Correct me if I'm wrong on any detail. like I said, I'm on the fence about it.

The colonial I'd say good badge.

The veteran eagle stick, I'd have to agree with Gregorio. For the most part the eagles head is facing to the left instead of the right. The one I have his head is turned to the right. If you look at any tr with a bird involved, I'd say the head is always looking to the right when looking straight at it (exception, naval badges face left, and a few membership group items).

            Cheers
            Brian

              Brian,

With all due respect, this Veterans Organization's Eagle head does in fact face left.

That does not mean that I believe the stickpin is proper, as the quality is quite rough.

Here is a naval stickpin of the same organization with quite fine finish......

Ok, I admit when I am wrong. Looking clear at mine, it's not the same one as posted here. My mistake, sorry. But you do agree that most badges and medals that have an eagle, the head is facing right and in some few cases it faces left as posted in the pictures.

                  Cheers

                    Brian,

Of course you are right about that, however here are a few that go the other way............

Jon, I wouldn't want that veteran's eagle stickpin.
The GES GESCH is wrong and the details are incorrect.
