    Misc. Tinnies

I managed to stumble onto some more tinnies, and, even though my photographic stuff isn't set up yet, I have taken some pictures of them (some of them).......again sorry for the poor photos.......and will post them from time to time. Right now just this one........my son wants the computer . I don't know what some of them are, and they are not in any groupings or order but there may end up being quite a few........so far I have photographed at least 50 and there is a bunch more.

WOW! Very nice tinnies! I would love to have an example of the Heilbronn tinnie you show! I used to live near that city.

              Hello Ron

A wonderfully eclectic grouping (complete with the Eickhorn product seal) and perhaps a great illustration as to why collecting these immensely varied event and meeting badges can be so interesting.

May I "lift" your Nitroplast example and drop it into this thread?

                Greetings All,

I really like the stenographers association pin from Heidenheim!! This is within the geographical region I collect from. Another nice selection of badges.

                    Ron,
Very nice selection of tinnies. Very nice clear pictures. Did you scan them or are they taken with a camera?

                        Del,

The pictures were done at various times, and, while some things may have been scanned with various scanners I have and have had, most by far were taken with cameras (also various ones......most all of them Nikons, and many of the shots were taken with micro lenses). Most shots, if not all of the ones posted, were hand held, although I do have some good shooting tables, lights and tripods I have not been able to get them set up like I plan to because of the ongoing remodeling here. I hope to later and try to get some good shots. Although I have a few Leicas, Minoltas, Olympus, Bronica, Rolleiflex, and a few others.....many of them are film cameras, and some years ago I switched to digital and so all I use now are Nikons and a couple of Leicas, and my darkroom has given way to CS4 extended (or whatever the correct Photoshop version name is.........haven't gone to the latest one, don't even use all the features in the one I have ).

                        Thanks,
                        Ron

Thanks to all for the comments. I plan to post more in time.....some sooner, and some when I can take more pictures.
