Hi,
the 4 in 1924 is different to all other pieces i have seen. Is it a variant ? Or a fake ?!

It looks like an orginal badge. Barring some sloppy enamel "overage", it's probably a variation.

Are these badges highly reproducted? And if so what does one look for in a reproduction? Mike

I can't say that I've seen a repro, with the exception of a suspect 1918. However, I don't get out that much and may not be in tune with what's sneaking up on us.
