            Morning Robert :
Happy Fathers Day to all :

It is certainly a new variant and possibly even a missing maker !

Now here is something different . Just saw this by accident - in this group of 10 Workers Tinnies . The first one I have ever seen with the maker - ABOVE - the pin mount . Went through this thread 2 times and did not see one like it .

I tried everything to read the name and place . The picture quality is too poor ... unless you or some one else can make it out ???
I have looked at many 1935 Tinnies and never this one . Not sure what happen here . Possibly an error in the first striking batch with the maker in the wrong place ??

            Cheers, Douglas

Happy Father's Day to you too Douglas,

Great find, this tinnie with the maker mark above the fastener. I can't make it out either. Very unusual indeed.

I assume you do not have that one - so I will send details : you might be able to just get that one .

Another mistery has been solved --> the 'upside down' maker now has been identified shown 5 posts back . New ones are still showing up !

A (August) Schulze Berlin SW 10 ............ another one for the list !

Going by memory I think it read SW 10 - don't have a camera at the moment still .... Robert has it in hand now and can post pictures of it .

Interesting to note that A Schulze and Ernst Scheiter do not have a later M9/ number .
A Schulze - only ever shows up once with a M5/ 106 number - for Uniform Accessories . Also the previous maker Ernst Scheiter has only a M5/ 132 number .

This tells us that many were on the bandwagon early on ( about mid 30s) and dropped out of making tinnies or anything at all for that matter and or moved onto something else - like they did .
The true number of makers for this tinnie will remain open .... as tinnies from hard to find low output makers still can and will show up from time to time .

Robert will be putting up pictures of the A Schulze Berlin tinnie - which I think had to be an embarrassing short lived error production on their part with no corrected version I have seen so far ??
The two different ' Schulze ' did not sink in immediately - only on closer inspection .

August Schulze in Berlin and Paul Schulze in Lübeck possibly could be related- I don't know ?

YES, this is a very unusual Tag der Arbeit tinnie, and a welcomed addition to the group!

Thank you, Douglas, for sending me this tinnie. I honestly didn't see the maker on the reverse until you just now pointed it out. Who would ever think it would be marked above the pinset?

                        It reads: A. Schulze, Berlin S. 42
