Help needed in ID'ing this shield pin back

Was wondering if anyone has seen this before and have any idea as to it's age? No maker marks but it is marked Ges Gesch. Thanks Mike

It's a German-made Distinctive Insignia ("DI") from the 4th Cavalry Regt.....(US Army) probably from the 50s/60s (harder to date than the American made versions).
Unit is still active....
