I don't know if anyone else has picked up on the clear differences between the badge you posted, and the other one. The script on the front is not the same, and look at the differences in the maker details on the back. Strange considering it's the same maker.

Yes, I thought it was odd that the centrally located ges gesch. on detlev's piece was incuse whereas on mine they are in relief. Also the pin construction
looks to be different. Greatly appreciate your observations.

the "German Christian Church." (a very small denomination church)
According to J.R. Cone's "One People, One Reich" ..."Very small production runs
and destruction from the war, have caused this badge to be a very rare item to acquire."
