Hi, this is my latest party pin acquisition and it is the first painted version for me. It was in such great shape. Marked to the reverse m1/25.

Nice one John, I have added it to the list on page 28.

Well, before scouring the database, I had always felt reasonably good about my party pins. I noticed that my M1/72 has a dot between the letters instead of a slash.

Better throw out my painted M1/92 while I'm at it.

                  Larry,
I think your M1/92 painted pin is spot on, but you better take that stroll though the database and compare your M1/72 to the ones you will find there and see what you think about then.

I took the stroll through the entire database which is what gave me cause for concern. It was hard for me to imagine someone going to all the trouble to get the font of the numbers on the reverse correct and still make so many other glaring errors.

                      Larry,
If they would have used Ges Gesch instead of the numbers and left off the RZM logo one would be hard pressed to find fault with it, as the fonts and enamel work on the front of the badge are perfect for one made in the years before the RZM took control 1924-1934.

Posting this badge for a new member PH1. A very good example of a M1/155 maker name is Schertner & Cie., Eggenberg b. Graz. Also a first for the Database List.

These 72"s are beginning to be a pain in the butt,,, they are all different.....
Check out page 3, #38 of this database and compare these two badges and tell me what you think????
