Volksjugend - Kampfjugend Pin - Anyone Seen One Before?

Hi Everybody,

I recently acquired this - more of a gamble than anything, since I don't know what it is. Of course, my initial guess and reason for buying, was that it might be related to a National Socialist Youth Movement (Luxemburger Volksjugend perhaps?). The font used, seems to be of the period, as does the slogan.

However, I'm also wondering whether it could refer to a post-war Youth Movement (early post-war, i.e. 46/47), possibly DDR.

Any thoughts, musings, opinions, favourite quotations, jokes, short stories / movies, etc. all welcome and appreciated.

The Luxemburger Volksjugend (LVJ) emblem was a white lebens rune (life rune) on a black shield.
