HY Oak Leaf Pin Back Badge ID Please

My good friend has just acquired this well made badge and would like to learn more about it (me too).

First off let me say nice looking badge if it is authentic or not I’m sure others will have an opinion on that, it is for the NSDSTB National-Sozialistischer Deutscher Studentenbund (Nazi German Students Federation) part of the NSDAP organization for the political education of students. I have only seen the lone diamond badge along with the addition of the oak leaves in a wreath for an honor student but not in the bar form. I do find it a little troubling to see it not RZM marked.

An interesting piece indeed. No idea whether it's original or not, but I think I like it..........

James, the version you mention that we are more familier with isn't RZM marked either, only a serial number is seen on the reverse.
