Brit-Ger Friendship Pin Bogus - Miscellenous table

    Hello,
I hope I'm not to late, but I think the British-German Enameled Friendship Pin put on the Third Reich Miscellaneous table by Jimmy and quickly sold, should most definitely be discussed. It's appeared on a number of forums and been rejected as bogus / fake. The most common and obvious objection being the German script is grammatically wrong, should read Britische Freundschaft - reads Britisch Freundschaft - note the E is missing from the word Britische - a mistake a top flight maker like Deschler & Sohn would never allow.
    Regards

I've never been convinced that these British (or the American versions) are genuine. They have definitely been around since the mid to late 1970's (when a large number of the various fantasy enamals were first produced) & some have developed a nice aged look in that time.

I can't prove it (apart from the spelling in the British version) but I'm sure they are bad.

    Cheers
    Don

I didnt see it but I would have to say that ALL British-German enameled friendship badges are bogus as shown by Jo.

Of course, the exception to the rule here is if you put together a colorful book with many images of badges and values and tell people over and over, it is real. LINK
Then one does not need to even argue or debate, then one can just accept that it/they are real.
