Hi all,
I made the rounds to the local antique stores the other day and one actually had some German stuff, albeit only tinnies. I do have a question though. There were two badges like the one pictured below. The only difference was that the two I saw had a shinnier gold finish and it almost appeared they were unfinished. The tab for the stick pin was not bent back and they stuck straight up.
Also I didn't know what they were until I did some searching on the net and a website selling German militaria said they were campaign tinnies. Is that right? Also are they being reproduced and how much do they go for? Tinnies aren't my thing but, if they are a decent deal I may go back and pick one or both of them up. The other tinnies were just typical the typical tag der arbeit tinnies and they were all about $20 USD each.
Thanks for your thoughts,
Kyle
