    Please help i.d. this medal/coin/? 1936 Olympics

Please have a look at this fine silver coin with milled edge. It is based on the Olympic medal given to people involved in helping to stage the 1936 games in Germany.

It is like a "Proof" coin with a very good strike using a polished die. It measures about 39mm across and weighs about 31.5 grams.

An interesting thing is that on the reverse of coin at the bottom along rim, it states; "ONE TROY OUNCE .999 SIVLVER"

I know this coin is at least 30 years old. Does anyone know anything about it and who made it and when?

Any information, or even "guess-timations" would be appreciated.

    Thank-you and please see pics.

These are silver bullion 'art coins', made long after the war. I have the Blood Order version. My sons are coin collectors and they have showed me several with Third Reich themes.

      Thanks alot Bob!
Yeah I thought so. I think it was made in the 1970's, not any later.... Quality production though.
      Cheers,
