Hitler Youth Blue Enamel Badge

I picked this enamel badge, and I need opinions on whether or not this is an original?
It looks like an original to me.
I compared it the maker marks that I have on my regular Hitler Youth Member Enamel Badge and they are the same.

Because the firm of "Otto Hoffmann" never existed.

There was no Otto Hoffman maker that made badges during the 3rd Reich - So, consequently, any badge with that maker is fake.

Not quite clear on whether or not Hoffman made anything, or was just a catchy, German sounding name the fakers dreamed up.
This has been discussed before, maybe someone else with more details on the subject can chime in.

All those "Otto Hoffmann's" are FAKE, it's that simple. There's a dealer at the Max Show who has them tossed on a big plate by the dozens , in all colors including yours in the red & blue, also in black, green, sky-blue, yellow, & even PURPLE. They are a half-dozen for $10 / $12.

I agree they are all fake and the never stop making victims and this all over the world. Last week on a German forum a collector heard the same verdict from me.

Some clown has one of these on his site in black. He says "from an estate outside Berlin for SS/HJ members". Priced at 699 USD. Maybe not illegal but definetly criminal to hawk that junk at that price.
