Does anyone know where I can get information on SS 4,8 & 12 year long service award stickpins and minatures

The 8 year stickpin and miniatures were sold not too long ago on the e-stand. Try contacting dustin. He could help.

Mainly, I would like to know various makers, are there any reference books as I have SS 4, 8 and 12 year cased long service awards with stickpins for all three plus a minature of the * year award.
Are there corresponding minatures for the 4 and 12 year awards?

Welcome to the Forum Billy.
I only know for certain that both miniature and stickpin versions of the 4 & 8 year SS-Service Awards were produced by Otto Schickle. As for the 12 year award, I have never seen or heard any reference to either a miniature or a stickpin, apart from a repro stickpin which was auctioned by Carsten Ziege a few years back.

Still can't upload. Looked at rules and regulations and apparently only association members can post images. I thought I was an association member.

The 4 & 8 year stickpins look fine to me, but I don't know about the 12 year as this is the only pic I have seen of a fake, with which to compare it...hopefully PeterJ will see this thread and comment.

I don't know how much info your going to get as that is part of the problem with minis in general (lack of info). JC has provided you with quite a bit.
I think the 4 and 8yr pins you have are good. I have reservations on the 12yr. Very soft looking details and pitting.
