NSDAP Gold Party Badge No. 527

I am in possession of the 25mm Gold Party Badge No. 527. I have some information gathered from a researcher, but would appreciate the opinions and input of the members here.

I would like to have the 30mm badge of the same number to complete the set. If anyone has information concerning the 30mm, I would appreciate hearing about it.

This is my first post. I don't see a way to attach a picture here. Can anyone tell me how?

      Hi Charles,

Welcome to the forum. Photos can only be attached if you are a paid member. Memberships go for US$25 a year. The other alternative would be to upload your photo on a free hosting site like www.photobucket.com and put the link up here. Most members do not like the external hosting option because if the external site removes the photo, then the image is forever (usually) gone.

While i can't help with your GBP question, i hope the above does.

      Happy collecting.

Charles...you have a better chance at winning the lotto than finding the 3 digit badge you seek. If by some miracle it were discovered, it would be very expensive, as badge numbers under 1000 are always commanding a premium, and the fact that they know you want it bad would also cause the seller to"ransom" you .
I can recall back in the 60s , one acquaintance of mine had 15 badges all different numbers under 100, and that at the time was a lucky find. they all sold quickly, and the guy regretted selling them not too many years later, so think of what they would be today. Oh he still has badge #7, as i've seen it. Still Good luck with your quest, as that's what it will be IMO, and may take you the rest of your life to locate if it even still exists. .

                    Hi, Nick,

I don't believe I ever responded to your message. Yes, the badge belonged to Karl Staudhammer. Let me know if you have any trouble opening the urls.
