"Fur Mutter und Kind 1934" cloth tinnie?

    Gents,

I got this in a group of items and am not quite sure what it is. The writing reads: "Fur Mutter u. Kind 1934". It is made of cloth with a piece of copper like metal on the top with pin fixture on the reverse.

I am assuming this is an un-official "day-badge" for something?

Thank you for any light that can be shed on this little item.

There was under the rule of the NSV (Nationals Sozialistische Volkswohlfahrt) a sub - organzation (departmen) called "Mutter und Kind" but this tinnie comes from a WHW collection
for this group of Mutter und Kind:

                Defo not whw
The Hilfswek ‘Mutter und Kind,’ was created in February 1934 by the NS-Volkswohlfahrt Nazi welfare organization. Mutter und Kind performed many functions: “welfare and recuperation for mothers, welfare for small children and the establishment of help and advice centers”

"Fur Mutter Und Kind" 1934 cloth tinnie?

                    Hi,

I have one of these badges in my collection, bought from a friend whilst on a visit to Germany a few years ago.
He had approximately 20+ of these in unissued mint condition.
All of these tinnies had as an addition to the badge itself, a woven band approximately 1.25 cms wide and 7cms long.
The band was made from the same material as the cloth badge. The band is white, edged vertically on both edges in pale blue with the script "Mutter und kind" vertically down the band; and below this the Frauenschaft symbol, again all in pale blue.
With hindsight, I wish I had bought all of them, as they were only 1 Euro each!
                    Hope this helps,

                    Best regards,

                    John.

                      Hello again,

Sorry for my error, I meant to write script horizontally down the band! My apologies,

                      John.
