Not a good piece in my opinion. In addition to the "McDonald's M" the pin assembly is wrong and the Z in RZM does not have a cross line through it.

I found that not all "Z" in RZM have a cross through it. There are several examples of other makers in the databse without the crossed "Z". The give away is the "McDOnalds M.

Actually, the give away is the modern enamel. It is not period hard enamel but modern. You can tell by the sunken red around the edges of the letters. The metal is wrong as well - it is a shiny nickel chrome from the photo, not silver-plated copper.

And when some one like ME.. joins the conversation, and can show you the same pin attachment in a Period Attachment producers Catalog... what would you say then?
(of course the badge in questions is a poor modern fake, but my reply is directed solely towards your reply... so either say... Sorry i jumped the gun & i don't really know what i am talking about about...., or duck out... the choice is yours)

hi adam mate you get original TR pins with no - through the Z ,the rzm used the two markings, i think the one without the - could be earlyer than the one with? i have read that info on the - on this forum

heres a party pin of mine that has no line through the Z sorry about the small pictures!!
