    Table medal?

    Would this be considered a table medal?Can any one id it for me.It`s very heavy,it weighs almost 15 grams and has a diameter of 7cm.Sorry about bad pics,I use my cell phone camera.

    Personally, I call anything silver dollar size and less a medallion. But this is larger and most people call anything that never had a attachment device, loop or pin, or that is mounted on a base, a non portable piece or a table medal.

    To answer the second part it is service award for labour, but that is all I can see. I was really just answering the first part of the question. I am sure you have figured out this.

      The medal was given from the Industrie- und Handelskammer Halberstadt "Für Treue in der Arbeit" about 1920/30. It has a ribbon.

      I think I was given to veterans for a long period working.

        Thanks for the link.Mine is totally smooth all around,it doesn`t look like it ever had a loop to attach to a ribbon.Thanks for the info,I think it`s pretty neat and it just lays on my monitor base with the flash light in another thread.Seems like there`s little things all over the room.
