Need Help To Identify

I am looking for help to identify this pin. I received a box of goodies from a vet today and within it a triagular pin that is 1"x1", black cloth background and crimped to magnetic plate by a wreath of laurel leaves with acorns anchoring the wreath. The emblem "D7K" is afixed to the center. It has the "ges gesch" stamped on the reverse.

Perhaps this is a pre-war pin or foreign pin as I also found within a Deutsche Turnerbund pin that is constructed very similar to the unknown pin.

Believe it or not it's actually a J not a 7.......

DJK Deutsche Jugendkraft, an early youth group (Catholic I think?), dissolved obviously when the National Socialists came in but reformed post war & I think maybe still around today.

Whether the pin is pre or post NS period I couldn't say.

Thanks very much for the quick response. Now that you mention it being a "J", I realize my tunnel vision lock wouldn't let me think beyond what else it could be other than a "7". DOH!!!!

I agree that determination being pre or post would be difficult. IMO the hardware itself looks more 1920'ish than post '45.
