      Wow, how did he get a 1989 penny in the 50's?
      Just kidding--I have one of these Gau München badges as well. Another undervalued award--nice piece!

        Nice badge for sure Steve. Does anyone know how many makers there were of this badge? I think I had heard one time that only Deschler & Sohn made it but but don't know this for sure. I also have seen unmarked Gau Munich badges so would like to hear what others think.

            This is a most underestimated award and one that is often confused with the Blood Order. This was being awarded for a much later time after the inception of the badge and the Blood Orders's inception. Thus an award in its own right, this might have been done away with in Nov 1936.
