Oktoberfest Day Badge - KDF - Beer and Beets! Anyone Know About This One?

I am in the process of moving and came across this one in the box. Don't recall seeing it in my references. Was considering selling to a fellow collector, but thought about showing here first.

Are these badges rare or have I just never seen one before? Thanks

    Hello,

Not common at all, but limited appeal or interest I'm afraid.

Here are the four I am aware of, all issued through the KdF:

      Thanks Bill -

I had one more but it's "Munchen" related. Not really WHW as I learned them as it's got the RZM code and maker on the back.

Here is the photo, dug this one out too.

I agree with Guy...the Munchen tinnie is part of a WHW series.

            Jeff,
If you look at reverse below the dates 1939/40 you will see Kriegswinterhilfswerkes, the WHW changed the name to that after the war started 1939/45.

              Apprecitate the comments Gents.

What was the determining factor as to why some WHW/KHW badges had RZM and others did not?

              Thanks.

                Jeff,
If this was a Party sponsored event and from the use of the political eagle on the front it was then it would be appropriate for it to the have the RZM logo. IMO.

Please allow me to point out that those aren't beets: It's radish, or as we in Bavaria say, Radi. (Popular with beer!)
