The 1933 badge is also by Balmberger. They must have just about cornered the market on badges for the local Nürnberg events.

Very nice to see the pin catch device attached to your 1933. Also nice is the fact it is maker marked. Most of these I've ran across either don't have the pin or they have been re-attached. Your device is choice. You don't see too many.

I took the liberty of playing with your picture John to get a better Idea of the total amount of variation between the busts on both badges. I wonder which die maker is the closest to R.K's. original design. Also John see on mine how the detail in the faces change when I retook the picture of mine and changed the angle to match yours I fined that very interesting. Greg could you post a close-up of your 1935 badge and it's maker so we can see if it's any different then John's or mine?

Yes, very interesting indeed. Perhaps some foreign material made its way into the die which would account for the obvious difference?

Here's better detail on my 1935 Reichsparteitag badge. Looks like it more resembles the variation shown by John.

This one is steel underneath the shiny finish.

I knew I had some more of RK's pieces. Fairly common but a greatly designed piece. Would have made nice coinage.

Wow, that has to be the king of Reichsparteitag 33 badges! I've only seen a few with silver finish. Great badge, Don!
