            "RK" Initials beneath Figure on 1934 Reichsparteitag

            The initials RK beneath the figure are the artist's (sculptor's) initials.
            I believe it was Richard Klein. Can anyone verify this?

              Yes John Richard Klein is the artist's who designed all 6 of the Reichsparteitag badges as well as the 2 Tag der Arbeit and 4 1-Mai badges.

                  Very cool thread...when i was in the army i was stationed outside of Nuremburg and visited the old city numerous times....always liked these pins...George very nice 29 version...could you post a pic of the reverse...thanks in advance

                    Here's another 1933 Reichsparteitag.. not the best I've had, because the pin has been resoldered... will have to scan and post my favorite while at home.

                    That's a great 1933 badge. Is the pin more like a safety pin than the usual tinnie pin, and it's on a thin flat plate that's soldered into a very shallow groove in the back of the badge? I have seen another one like that.

                      The back. I've often seen these with the normal tinnie pin attached in a big blob of solder, but I think this one has been reattached.

                        I snapped some better pics of the pin. The pin on mine is not soldered about halfway up from the bottom. I cannot tell if this is a manufacturing error or partial damage since it was made.
