    hello all

    in another forum a memeber posted that there were mothers cross with diamonds issued late in the war. is this true? any pics or facts on this? thanks rodney

    There's one on page 75 of Angolia's Fuhrer and Fatherland - Political and Civil Awards. It supposedely went to a mother of 16.

      Somehow it is hard to believe that these were issued or if issued that they were awarded with any regularity. My Grandmother received the Bronze Mother's cross for having four children. In the same village was a farmer's wife that had 27 children (yes, that's right, 27 though there were quite a few multiple births in the bunch) and she received only a Gold.
