    ... I've ever seen. In fact, the first one I have encountered still to have full burnishing to the swastika and letters.

                          Nice pair of badges, but i am not sure of the blue carton for the
                          kreissieger. The ones i have seen were red.

                            hi mametz you are correct i spoke to toby about this, as a norm kreiss came in a red box and the gau in a blue box as shown above, the fact that the kreiss is a 38 and the gau a 39 it may be that the winner of these badges who must have won the kreiss for 39 also won the gau for 38 and at some point the boxes got switched, there are many cases where individuals won these badges in consecutive years. as for where the kreiss for 39 and the gau for 38 could be now , whi knows
