    reverses

The reverses. The one on the right is RZM marked but I don't think the marking will be visible.

When the badge was made an official NSDAP decoration in 1936, the other solid etc. versions with RZM marks were made as replacements, since many of those men entitled to wear the badge as a decoration would have discarded their original 'tinnies' after a few days.
        Robin,

Thanks for this info, it'd never occured to me that this was the reason for the "hollow back" versions of these rally badges. I'd always assumed that they had been lower priced items that people of less means could buy on the day & not feel left out .

Do you think this is also the reason for the hollow or tinnie version of the 1933 rally badge?

        Cheers
