    It is my opinion that the pin is good. You wopuld never see a fake like this.

      thanks for all your replys,the feedback is looking positive,the stippling, and ges gesh,would make this a realy early hj membership pin,however i would like some more opinions,but so far its below is anouther photo of the stippling,without the flash,but it still looks better in the hand.

        i would say that the pin plate was made by anouther manfacture who provided pins for badges,hence the 2 patent marks,comments on this welcome.

          There are many badges that are double marked with "GES. GESCH." on the body and pinplate. Pinplates were likely made in bulk and affixed to any number of badges, some need the mark, and others already had it as part of the back die.

          This looks to me like a good, pre-RZM HJ membership raute.

            thanks for your reply,lets deal with the stippling,as i have never seen the first pattern stippling,on hj membership pins,

              I haven't seen that style of stippling on an HJ badge before either, but it was pre-RZM standardization when makers had more leeway in the details of design.

              It's a nice early badge made more attractive by the odd stippling.

                thanks for your feedback,the photos do not do the stippling justice,as it does look lot nicer in the hand,,..its a shame that there is some minor damage to the emblem.
