The front looks fairly good. The reverse has too many notes. None of these letters or numbers appear on originals.

It's a fine original, & rare too. 95% of these on dealer sites are fake.

This piece was also re-issued, notice that the original serial number has been milled off & a new number added. This is because the pins remained the property of the SSFM & had to be returned on death etc.

A nice find.

I stand corrected on this one, what put me off was the markings
on the back. Also the lack of quality of the lettering on the front
plus the mishapen runes.

What a lovely rare stickpin. Not one of the fairly common SS/FM stickpins, but one of those given to generous financial contributors to the SS and the NSDAP. Just a wonderful original piece and one that I've been on the hunt for. Great find.

Sorry, but generosity had nothing to do with the award of these Ehrenandel. They were awarded to the first 30 000 original FM contributors who had one of the common FM pins, then expanded to the next 20 000.
