    Need help identifying 1933 tinnie

I have looked for this tinnie in all my books and can find it nowhere. Any info on it or its rarity or commonality would be appreciated.

Hello...afraid I can't find it anywhere either but if you are wondering what "Bergrennen" is, it means mountain/hill racing...Holger

The Hohnstein Bergrennen was one of the first in Germany. Hohnstein is a place near Dresden:

Here a list of the prizes the different winners got 1933 and who donated the prize:

nice catch Chris! I must be blind because I now found it on page 434 of the newest edition of Tieste - my head must have been elsewhere when I was looking originally.

Where can I get a copy of this book you are referring to? All I have are the No. 1 and 2 Collectors guides from the Staff of the Fox Hole, 1978 and 1979.

PS: I have got some inquiries as to if the medal is for sale, but I'm only looking for info right now, so it's not for sale.

                  TK,
Can`t remember where I got mine but any military show should have a copy. As far as value goes, on a scale from 1-10, 10 being very rare, I`d say its about a 5-6. Possible price, between, $50-$65

The Tieste books can be bought directly from Tieste and there are 2 volumes to the new edition (2006) with over 12,500 tinnies referenced. Cost is 79,50 Euro and of course the shipping costs a bit but it's worth it if you collect tinnies. I would imagine dealers here (US + Canada) would carry them too but I wouldn't know what the price is.
