I hope this short note finds all well! This is my most recent acquisition. Officially named a, "Firebrigade Honor Badge".
My question is who would have earned such a decoration and why are they so rare. I have looked over my medal and ribbon bar collection which is well over 300 items and none of them have this decoration represented on them.
I understand a First Class decoration is in existance but never recall even seeing a period photo of it in wear.
Any help would be appreciated!
