Very nice pieces guys!!Tom i really like your cased table medal,they are so much more appealing to me when they are in the case!!I have a cased one for 25 years of loyal service to the Rhein Pfalz economy along with a cased matching pure silver pin back badge,I cant seem to find my pictures I know i posted them before i will find the thread and post a link.

The German Golf Federation -DGV- was created on 26 May 1907 in Hamburg,

this plate was carried out for the thirtieth birthday of the creation of the DGV.

Hi John and thanks for your comment regarding my items. By the way might you be able to furnish any information on the olympic plaque I have posted at webshots? I have not seen any others for sale anywhere and was wondering if you might know anything about it. Was it perhaps sold as a souvenier of the games or what? Any idea would be appreciated as would value. Again beautiful items all you guys have and I would hope to see more discussion on the forums regarding plaques and medallions. I think it's a relatively unexplored area of collecting.

Sorry to say I've never seen your Olympic Plaque before and really would be unable to intelligently comment on it. Don't have any reference material on it. Your assumption about it being "souvenir" could be right. Generally speaking, plaques/table medallions could range in price typically from 100-250 (w/case always more).
