Rare Anti-Nazi & Italian Fascist Pin

I got this pin some time ago and have been unable to find out anything about it. Any info about what this might be, and a possible value as far as rarity would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Looks to be a German communist/anti fascist badge, with the Italian
symbol next to the swastika. I would think it would be quite rare

The "Red Front" used the clenched fist emblem ( until the nazis came to power and they were rounded up and sent to camps)

I have a friend that collects that stuff, if you are looking to sell it I can put you in touch.

This slogan and the red fist is still in use by left-wing groups, and was officially used by the East German government, so this could be relatively modern. Any chance of a look at the back?

              pin

              Stephen,
I`ll try and get a pic of the back although I know the back pin has been replaced. I am however confused. If its modern, why would they put the Swastika and the Italian fascist symbol on it

I would agree with sjl, more than likely post war, from the sixties
                student demo period.

There are still lots of anti-fascist / anti-nazi / anti-racist / anti-skinhead / anti-hate groups active out there. Like Mamez said, mostly student activist groups from the 1960s to present, frequently on the Left.

It could be modern. Many punks wear stuff like this even to this day.

from one 'punk' that would know...

I still think its older, look at the edge wear. And while there are certainly anti-nazi sentiments today, when have you seen anti Italian-fascist stuff lately?

That might be the original pin ....I wouldn't convict it yet.
