fantasy badge ?

Hello,

Can anyone help me identify this badge ? I’ve never seen this thing before, is it something genuine or just a fantasy badge ?? Judging from the case it looks like something political but I’m not sure. Can anyone please help me out ?

Hi Alex,
I believe this is a Deutsch Saar Friendship/Alliance plaque.
It's hard to tell from the picture if it is good or not. If you can post a better picture that would help. These came in two sizes. What are the dimensions of the piece?
I have the larger sized one in my collection and will post a pic later for comparison. Mine has two mounting holes on it.

Hard to accurately price these; but, if original, I 'd say anywhere between 150-250 USD with case. More for a "mintlike" example. Less for the smaller version. Be careful though. I'd ask the seller for better pictures, preferably close-ups before purchasing. Make sure the "details" are there. Just about everything is being faked nowadays. Some other forum members may have an opinion.

Just a comment....

Just an observation - although the Third reich utilized several variations of the "Deutches Adler", this variant is often seen in relation to NSDAP / Austrian relations - not to say this is; I don't have any reference materials in front of me - I have several Austrian tinnies married to the NSDAP with this eagle variant - just FYI.
