Good evening gents, I watched The heroes of Telemark over christmas and couldnt believe it when one of the German officers can be seen clearly wearing this exact pin! I purchased this piece ages back but havent been able to find another like it, Do any of you guys know what it is??

HAHA Bingo bango! Whats wrong with this forum? I tried a search for mai 1933 returned no results wild carded the search from Google and it returns a waf thread....Wierd???? Any way found another example but just what the hell are these a standard mayday tinnie?

Hello all - may be late jumping on board here as a new member but here are my 2 cents worth. 1. Mai is basically the equivalent of Labour Day and has been around a long time and still is (as shown by the 1993 tinnie). Celebrated workers. The tinnie shown here is not that uncommon and is pictured on page 34 of Tieste (Arbeit 33-01). I have several from the 20s as well...Holger
