    Chess Champion Badge? Opinions..

    Hi all,
This piece has been in my collection for quite some time but have never been able to positively id it. It looks to be a chess champion badge. Somewhat of an "odd duck." Has anyone ever seen one of these? What does the G.S.B. stand for? Would greatly appreciate any/all comments.
    Thanks.........John

        Nice

        Hi John,
a nice little piece you have there. Its great. I donĀ“t think, that it is a fake, because IMO it is much too rare to be one. Could indeed be a chesschampions-badge!?
        Just my 2 Eurocents...
        best,

          Grossdeutscher-Schach-Bund

          Hi John,

me again. Found it in a Heering-HĆ¼sken catatlogue. Its the Membership stickpin 3rd form of the "Grossdeutscher Schach Bund" (German Chess Association).
Here is a picture and the prices. You cant take them too serious and they are old DM-prices.

          best,
          Gerd

                      Hi James,
Yes, I've always looked for things out of the ordinary so to speak.
Thanks for the "thumbs up." ... John
