Can anyone identify this pin? I was told I should ask in this section

So I was going through a box of my dads old stuff and came across what I now know is an iron cross 2nd class and this little pin. I have searched everywhere for info on it and have failed to find anything even remotely similar looking. The pin is 2 x 3 centimeters and is marked W14 on the back.

These badges were sold on street corners for the benefit of war victims and wounded vets.

Did you dad have any other stuff , as these items shown are both common, but nice examples. Not in the catagory for your criteria for sale. If there were any photos, other badges, or anything german, Post them, and we will give them a look ....might be something else we may be able to help you with if not...still the items are authentic. These pins have a washed silver finish, and oxdize to the grey base metal. This badge once had a silver colored finish....long gone thru time.

This pin and the iron cross were the only German items I've come across, well actually no I came across some period German currency as well in. I found various other badges as well from varying places, mostly South Africa and Australia. The only other thing I have I'm curious about is a an old bayonet, obviously quite old as it has a triangular cross section.
