    Info on unknown party-pin please

    Hi guys.

Can anyone identify this pin? It appears to be
struck but the cavities in the enamel bothers
me and I have my doubts. As for the circle on
the reverse, I know this mm has been credited
to a specific manufacturer, just can´t recall who.

    Regards
    Peter

Peter, This type of pin was sold to all members of the sympathizing public to help finance the NSDAP. From what I have read the small o was an assemble aid to assure the proper alignment of the swastika.

Really nice stickpin! Lo & behold, I have one very similar, (unmarked), but the red part instead of having the pebbled effect, has tiny rays, & it's a beauty.

Here's an example of the o being used to keep the train on an even keel.

I have a couple of examples of that style of Party badge in my own collection. I was told that they in fact date from the time when the NSDAP was banned following the 1923 failed putsch. Whether or not this is true I cannot honestly say- but they are not common pieces - - a good find.

              Another "mini"...

              About 15 - 16mm. As a button, this time. Note no "o".

                  Hi Ralph.

I like the button . This one I´ve never seen so I can´t really compare.
The enamel in the swastika seems a bit low. Compared to a normal member-badge the o:s in the text are different (oval instead of round). Just my
                  thoughts .

                  Regards
                  Peter
