    Red Cross pin

    Hello all,

I don't believe this is authentic TR era as I have never seen the reverse hardware. I would like to get some other opinions on this one though. Thank you in advance.

I believe you are correct, cheap copy.
Not only the non period attaching hardware, but the double RZM, raised RZM & weak RZM stamp are all unheard of, or very unusual.
The metal itself, also, does not display that patina one would expect from these.

I'm sure variations exist, heres one of mine for comparison.

If I am not mistaken, DRK pieces should not be RZM marked. Please correct me if I am wrong. Regards Robert

This is a really bad fake. DRK items will not be marked RMZ just patent and maker marked, nor will you see a pin like that one unless it was post war repair.
